Of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy these AHS themed shadows! Especially when they are vegan & cruelty free.

This was my first purchase from Strobe Cosmetics and I am beyond happy with these. Strobe also sells other makeup, single shadows etc.

There are two American Horror Story palettes. Hotel and Freak Show. Both contain five shadows, each shadow 2 grams.

These palettes are small (about 6 inches by 2 inches) packaged in a black case that has a mirror.

Vegan & cruelty free, the ingredients are listed right on the back of each package which I think is great.

Obviously the shadows have awesome names like monsters among us and checking in?.

The shadows in these AHS palettes are very pigmented and extremely blendable. The formulation of these reminds me of the Urban Decay Naked palettes. Very soft and pigmented, like the Naked shadows these do have some fallout, but that’s honestly expected when a shadow is that saturated and blendable.

All the shades are very beautiful shimmers. The only downside to this is that you really can’t use them without using another palette as well since they do not contain any matte shadows to use as transition shades.

these swatches are unfiltered, in natural light, applied with a brush over no primer. L-R; Hotel: Addiction Demon, Room 64, Checking In?, Royale, The Countess. Freak Show: Twisty, Strongman, Monsters Among Us, Conjoined, Bearded Lady.

The shadows perform wonderfully without a primer and are great for adding a little glimmer to a look! The beautiful rose golds, duochromes and unique pops of colors make these palettes a great find!

These are an excellent purchase for someone who is beauty & American Horror Story addicted!
